Community Outreach Events

We host a table at various South County community events, including

National Night Out, Shady Side, in August

and

The Ralph Bunche Community Center's

Community Day in June.

At these events, we provide South County

residents with information about our projects and about available resources and

services, including the Call N' Ride Service

and the SCAN food pantry.

At these events we interact with South County neighbors to gain their perspectives on

resources and services needed in their communities. Building on these

interactions, we develop projects to bring attention to needs that have been identified.

At these events, we spread the word about our organization, our mission and our current projects. We encourage those in the community who share our vision to

join us as members or as volunteers.
